Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • The Capella Star Talent Song Competition is open to individuals aged 18 and above.
  • Employees, affiliates, agents, and immediate family members of Capella Star Talent and its affiliates are not eligible to participate.

2. Entry Submission:

  • Participants must submit a video of themselves performing live an original or cover version of a song of their choice, the submission must not be digitally altered.
  • By submitting an entry, participants agree to grant Capella Star Talent the rights to use, reproduce, and distribute their song for the purposes of the competition and related promotional activities.

3. Content Guidelines:

  • Songs containing explicit or offensive language, or violating any laws or regulations, will be disqualified.
  • Capella Star Talent reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or violating these guidelines.

4. Judging Criteria:

  • Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, musicality, and overall appeal.
  • The judging panel’s decision will be final and binding in all matters related to the competition.

5. Prizes:

  • Prizes will be awarded to the winners as determined by the judging panel.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  • Capella Star Talent reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without prior notice.

6. Notification of Winners:

  • Winners will be notified via email or other contact information provided at the time of entry.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within the specified timeframe, Capella Star Talent reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select an alternative winner.

7. Publicity and Promotion:

  • By participating in the competition, participants grant Capella Star Talent the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation.

8. Limitation of Liability:

  • Capella Star Talent and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of any prize.

9. Amendments and Termination:

  • Capella Star Talent reserves the right to amend or terminate the competition or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

10. Governing Law:

  •  These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
